Welcome to Hernando Intermediate School!

I am excited to begin another year alongside our amazing students, staff, and families. At HIS, we believe every student has unique gifts, talents, and potential, and it is a privilege to help them discover just how capable they are. 

This year, our theme is Learning is the Most Magnificent Adventure! Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, take risks, solve problems, and celebrate success. We want our students to be curious, confident learners who are willing to try new things and never give up when learning gets hard.

Those words remind us why we do what we do. We are committed to building strong relationships, providing meaningful learning experiences, and creating a school where every child feels safe, supported, challenged, and loved.
